The UK’s space sector is a vital part of the economy, worth over £16.4 billion per year and employing over 45,000 people across the UK.
The National Space Strategy brings together the UK’s strengths in science and technology, defence, regulation and diplomacy to pursue a bold national vision.
Now the UK Space Agency is making £500,000 available under its Space for All Fund, to support the aims and objectives of the Inspiration Programme.
The Space for All Fund will help to deliver growth under the National Space Strategy and inspire our future space workforce.
Successful applicants will be offered a grant and should aim to complete grant-funded work on projects before 21 March 2025.
The UKSA has the following draft schedule:
Opening of award scheme – 1 September 2023
Deadline for proposals to be received – 5pm 27 October 2023
Outcome notification – w/c 27 November 2023
Grant-funded project work to start no earlier than – 4 December 2023
Grant-funded project work to be completed by – 21 March 2025
